Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Sightseeing in Ulaanbataar city including visit to  to the Museum of National History of Mongolia with excellent displays on several millennia of history of Mongolia-beginning with the Stone Age, running through the Turkic and Mongol Empires, the rise of Buddhism, the communist regime and ends with a colorful display of contemporary society.



Gobi/ Bayan Zag, Flaming Cliffs/Yol Valley
Trip to the Gobi Desert, one of the most famous and exotic areas in the world. Excursion to the Bayan Zag, the Flaming Cliffs* for exploring the Gobi “Cemetery of Dinosaurs”  and Moltsog sand dunes  for leisure hiking, trekking and camel riding opportunity.



Breakfast at the base camp. Transfer to the airport for departure to Ulaanbaatar. Afternoon free at leisure for individual sightseeing and shopping. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B/L/D).



Terelj National Park
Trip  to Gorkhi Terelj National Park. Terelj is famous for its unique granite rock formations and pristine alpine scenery. Excursion to Turtle Rock and visit locals. Optional horse back riding opportunity.



Golden Naadam Festival
The smaller version of the famous  Naadam  festival, celebrated each summer in August. Naadam originated many centuries ago as a test of courage, strength, daring, horsemanship, all necessary for a nomadic people and warriors.Enjoy wrestling, horse racing and archery contests.Golden Naadam Gala reception and folklore performance.



Chingis Khaan’s 13th Century Park/Ulaanbaatar
Visit  to the Chingis Khan’s 13th Century Theme Park  to explore & experience the way of living, customs, tradition and military activities of 13th century’s Mongolia. Take a part in everyday life activities of Mongols and learn about state affairs, livestock breeding, cooking, traditions, customs and garments etc.



Visit Bogdo Khaan Winter Palace Museum. Built between 1893 and 1903, the Bogdo Khaan Winter Palace is the home of last Mongolian King- Javzun Damba Khutagt VII. The Palace contains a number of Buddhist artworks and private collection of Bogdo Khaan, composed of gifts from rulers and kings from all over the world. The artworks displayed here were made by the top Mongolian, Tibetan and Chinese master-sculptors of the 18th and 19th centuries and represent the gods of Buddhist pantheon. Excurtion to Manzshir Monastery, located in the southern entrance of Bogdo Khaan National Park. This 18th century monastic complex was left in ruins after the communist purges of the 1930s.
